PostDoc: Mass Spectrometry in Metabolism Research

The group is based in an ERC and Wellcome Trust funded lab at the University of Cambridge Department of Biochemistry/Systems Biology Centre and study the regulation of the metabolic network during ageing and the environmental stress response.

Their work focuses on the regulation of amino acid and central carbon metabolism, and the study their dynamic regulators and how they are involved in the robustness of the biological system. They operate both as a functional genomics and analytical mass spectrometry laboratory. In this advert, they are seeking an engaged researcher at Post-Doctoral level to strengthen the liquid chromatography /mass spectrometry team.
 

Candidates should hold a PhD in biological or analytical sciences. Experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry is mandatory, background in a biological data analysis desired.
