The Bioexpression and Fermentation Facility (BFF) within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Georgia invites applicants for a non-tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Research Scientist level. Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology or related disciplines and have a strong background in protein purification techniques.  The successful candidate will be expected to manage protein purification projects contracted through the facility and be responsible for writing reports for client projects as well as troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Submit applications via the UGA Franklin College website.

Strong skills in writing standard operating procedure documents are required with GLP/GMP documentation experience being desirable. Teaching and/or managerial experience is desirable, as the candidate will also be expected to train and supervise staff and students.
