Call for proposals utilising Instruct-funded structural biology techniques - Closing 26th Sept

03-Jul-2014

Instruct’s aim is to make available to researchers the technologies and methodologies at our 16 Instruct Centres around Europe and in Israel. A full range of advanced technologies is available for obtaining structural and dynamic information on systems in various dimensions, complexity and resolution. Access to all technologies benefits from expert support at the facility to ensure the best research outcome.

Do you have access to ALL the structural biology instrumentation you need for your research? If you are new to structural biology research, have you considered using Instruct-funded technologies in a new approach?

Proposals for funded access to the full set of Instruct facilities are now invited.

Access to Instruct infrastructure is available to all scientists working in laboratories of any of the Instruct member countries (presently BE, CZ, ES, FR, DE, IL, IT, NL, PT, SE, UK). Access is free and we pay your travel and consumables. Proposals will be evaluated rapidly on scientific merit and should outline an integrated programme of research that requires one or more Instruct technologies to achieve the aims of the project, and which are not ordinarily available in your own institution or through national facilities.

Register and submit your proposal online here . The deadline for this round of proposal submission is 5pm CET, Friday 26th September 2014.

We are also inviting nomination for the Ivano Bertini award. The award recognises scientists who have undertaken frontier research utilising an integrative structural biology approach which aligns with the Instruct vision. Submit your nominations now.
